Parent Teacher Home Visits
With the Parent Teacher Home Visit (PTHV) Program, the goal is to start by building a strong and positive relationship between the family and the school.
The visits begin with the teacher asking about the family's hopes and dreams for their child. By involving the parents and families, we create a better chance of success for students. Visits don't necessarily have to take place at your home; they can also be in public areas like parks, libraries, cafes, etc. If you would like to schedule a home visit with your child's teacher, please contact the main office phone line at (720) 424-5150 or speak directly to your teacher.

April Parent Newsletter #2/Boletín de Abril para Padres #2

Dear parents/guardians,
Congratulations to all our Newlon students for the hard work and effort they have shown us during the recent CMAS assessments. We are all very proud of how seriously students take the test and expect to see good growth from them when the results become public in early August.
Parents please remember that our supervision begins at 7:45am on the playgrounds. Our expectation is that all parents and students go to the playground to wait for the school day to begin. We do not have the resources to supervise students in the hallways. Thank you so much for your help with this important safety concern.
MILE HIGH SCHOLARS AWARD WINNERS
A huge shout out goes to
Ashley Pham and
Dora Martinez
These two Newlon 5th graders were recently honored at a ceremony at the DCPA along with 300 other DPS students for their strong character and hard work throughout the year. They both were really excited to meet Mayor Michael Hancock during the ceremony.
Congratulations ladies!

Sinceramente,
Kelli Varney

Director de escuela

Queridos padres / tutores,
